Eating and Diapering

Well, the two activities are related...and Reese is making both of them interesting, to say the least.

EATING

Reese has an aversion to wet, slimy foods.  In other words, she will not touch them.  If you spoon-feed her a chunk of banana or avocado, she couldn't be happier...but don't expect her to get her hands dirty.

My ingenious little girl has found a way to eat her favorite foods without having to wait for mommy or daddy to feed them to her and without having to actually touch the food.

We call her our 'human vacuum cleaner':

After two weeks of vacuuming up all of her "finger" foods...she is just now starting to actually want to pick up those same foods with her (gasp) fingers!

Silly girl.

DIAPERING

Oye.
(And sorry for the following blurry pictures, but you get the point of the new "diapering" routine)

Time to change Reese's diaper.  No problem.

...until she realizes that she doesn't want to stay still to get her diaper changed because there are other things that she'd rather be doing.  Now there is a problem.

Bring in the reserves!
Colden to the rescue.  Temporary relief.

(not long enough to get the job done)

20 minutes later we have a successful diaper change.

Next time, it's your turn!
