Many of you have noticed the lack of activity on the blog recently.
Does having a second child really take up so much time that I can't sit down at the computer for an hour in the evening? Well, yes and no.
Does having a second child AND putting our house on the market take up so much time that I don't have even a second to spare? Most definitely YES!

We've been keeping our eye on the market for at least the past 2 years - knowing that our expanding family would not be able to be contained within the walls of our current townhouse forever. A single-family home we liked came on the market a few weeks ago and we had to jump on it (considering another offer was put on the house the very day it came on the market!). We are happy to report that the sellers accepted our offer! The purchase of our new house is contingent upon us selling our current house - so that gave us one week to clean it up to be "show-ready".
Our days have been consumed with the kids (it's fun to pluralize kidS - I'm still getting used to it) and our nights have been consumed with the house and Reese (although to her credit, she is waking up every ~4 hours now at night).
Needless to say, we've been a little busy:
- Fill up a storage unit with clutter from the house
- Feed Reese
- Clean the appliances and countertops
- Change Reese's diaper
- Sleep? Nope. No time.
...you get the point
But, the sign is in the yard, the flyers are in the house, the lockbox is on the door and I feel like I'm on call 24/7 now - just waiting for a realtor to call to ask if they can show the house.
We are beyond excited/nervous and will keep you posted.
Now that the house is pretty much ready to show...be prepared to be inundated with long-overdue blog posts! :-)
But seriously - do you know anyone looking for a townhouse?!?
