This was our 6th...Colden's 3rd and Reese's 1st annual trip down to dad and Ilona's (aka: Saba and Safta's) lake house in VA for Memorial Day weekend.

Luckily, that episode only lasted to the end of our development. The kids slept the entire way down (thank goodness, or that may have been our last annual trip down to the lake house).
Once there, we all enjoyed taking in the scenery:

After we meandered our way off of the porch and down to the dock, daddy tried to teach Colden how to fish:
No biters. This time.
But Colden and daddy thought it was fun to try...and everyone else thought it was funny when the fishing line kept getting tangled after unsuccessful casts. :-)
If you want to know what Colden's favorite thing to do at the lake house was, don't ask Colden...ask Captain Colden!
I'm not sure which looked more ridiculous...Saba and daddy wearing their biking outfits to the boat or Colden wearing his bathing suit/bathrobe/sunhat/sunglasses to the boat.
