Milk Mystery

My conversation with Colden tonight during our dinner, which we had on our back patio:

Me:  Colden, please drink your milk
Colden:  I don't want to. I want a treat
M:  You're not getting a treat until you drink your milk
C:  I'm too full to drink my milk
M:  Then you are too full to have a treat

…this continues for another couple of minutes…

(I start cleaning up the table and bring things inside.  I come back outside just in time to see Colden walking onto the patio from the grass.  He is holding an empty cup)

C:  Mom, look - I finished my milk!
M:  Colden, where did your milk go?
C:  (points to his stomach)
M:  Really?  Then you won't mind if I look in the grass?
C:  Why do you want to look in the grass?
M:  Oh, I just want to see the grass for a second

M:  Huh.  What are those white drops on the grass?
C:  I don't know.
M:  Colden - that is your milk.  Don't lie to me
C:  It was an accident
M:  Don't lie to me
C:  Did you see me from inside?
M:  Yes.
C:  Sorry, mom

…Honestly...
